What this tool does

Reorder PDF Pages lets you rearrange the pages of a document visually. Drag a thumbnail to a new position, or use the arrow buttons under each page, which also work with a keyboard and on touch screens. Reverse the whole document with one click, or restore the original order if you change your mind.

When you apply the new order, a background worker in your browser builds a new PDF with the pages in that sequence. Pages are copied, not re-rendered, so text and quality are unchanged and the file never leaves your device.

This is handy for fixing scans that were fed in the wrong order, moving an appendix, or reversing a document scanned back to front.

How to use it

  1. 1Add your PDF and wait for the previews.
  2. 2Drag pages to new positions, or use the arrow buttons under a page.
  3. 3Use Reverse order or Restore order for quick changes.
  4. 4Press Apply new order.
  5. 5Download the reordered PDF.

Supported formats

Input: one PDF (.pdf), password-free. Output: one PDF with the same pages in the new order.

Privacy

This tool runs in your browser. The data you provide is processed on your device and is not sent to our servers.

Limitations

  • Drag and drop works best with a mouse or trackpad; on touch screens use the arrow buttons.
  • Moving a page across a very long document with arrows is slow; for big moves drag the thumbnail.
  • Password-protected PDFs must be unlocked first.
  • Bookmarks and internal links are not kept in the new file.

FAQ

Does it work on a phone?

Yes. Use the arrow buttons under each page because dragging with a finger is not reliable in all browsers.

Can I also delete or rotate pages?

Use Delete PDF Pages or Rotate PDF for that; the tools can be chained by downloading and re-adding the result.

Will quality change?

No. Pages are copied as they are.

Is my file uploaded?

No. Everything runs locally.
