What this tool does

Pick a date and time in one zone and see the same moment in as many other zones as you like. Zones come from the IANA time zone database built into your browser, so daylight-saving rules for each place on the chosen date are applied automatically, including half-hour and 45-minute offsets such as India, Nepal or Lord Howe Island.

The meeting planner grid lays out all 24 hours of the day in your source zone against each other zone, shading typical working hours (9:00 to 17:00) so you can find an overlap quickly. Copy the result as a plain-text table for chat or email, or copy a link that restores the same date, time and zones.

If the time you enter falls in a daylight-saving gap or overlap, for example 02:30 on the day clocks spring forward, the tool tells you what it did instead of silently giving a wrong answer. Everything is computed in your browser with the Intl API.

How to use it

  1. 1Set the date, time and the zone the time is in. Use Now to start from the current moment.
  2. 2Add zones with the search box and drop-down. Remove any you do not need.
  3. 3Read the converted times and offsets. Day changes are marked like +1d.
  4. 4Use the planner grid to find hours that suit everyone, then copy the table or the link.

Supported formats

Input: date and time in any IANA zone. Output: a table, a plain-text summary and a shareable link.

Privacy

This tool runs in your browser. The data you provide is processed on your device and is not sent to our servers.

Limitations

  • Results depend on the time zone data in your browser. Recent government changes may not be reflected in older browsers.
  • Working hours in the planner are a fixed 9:00 to 17:00 local time and ignore weekends and holidays.
  • A local time inside a daylight-saving gap does not exist; it is shifted forward. A time inside an overlap exists twice; the earlier one is used.
  • Share links keep the date, time and zones in the address after the # sign. They are not stored on a server.

FAQ

How does it handle daylight saving?

For each zone the offset is calculated for that exact moment using the browser’s time zone data, so a meeting in March can differ by an hour from one in February for the same cities.

What happens at a DST transition?

If the time you typed does not exist (clocks jump forward) you will see a notice and the time is moved forward. If it occurs twice (clocks go back) the earlier occurrence is used and you are told.

Why do some zones have odd offsets?

Some regions use 30 or 45 minute offsets, for example India at UTC+5:30, Nepal at UTC+5:45 and Lord Howe Island at UTC+10:30 or +11:00.

Can I share the plan with colleagues?

Yes. Copy the table as text, or copy the link, which encodes the date, time and zones in the URL fragment.

Does it know my local zone?

It reads your device’s zone from the browser and uses it as the default source. You can change it at any time.
